Senior QA Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a proactive and passionate Automation QA Engineer who strives to drive quality from concept to delivery. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving and quality projects is fundamental.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Participate in daily QA meetings to discuss project status
• Participate in multiple meetings with developers, managers, and shareholders
• Identify priorities for modules to be automated
• Create and maintain automated tests using low-code tool Accelq
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
• Write documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test procedures, and test cases, and document bugs in Jira. Search the application logs for root causes to perform root cause analysis
• Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas
• Identify quality issues and create test reports
• Collaborate with the design team to solve application faults
• Perform regression testing every other week

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 3+ years of experience with Web automation testing
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Linux Administration - Ubuntu Server 16.04 and 20.04
• Bash scripting - Linux Shell Script and Command Line Accelq. Any automation tools experience will be a plus. Any OOP language will be a huge plus
• Continuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Bit bucket, GitHub HTML, CSS, JavaScript and DOM
• AWS Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Network Infrastructure and Device Monitoring: SNMP, ICMP, Viptela, UC, UCC, Cisco
• Performance testing
