Lead ML Platform Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design, PoC, and implement AI training and inferencing solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Develop and optimize machine learning platforms and pipelines using tools like Kubeflow, MLFlow, or similar MLOps frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address computational needs, delivering tailored machine-learning solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead efforts to build and deploy end-to-end MLOps solutions, automating processes for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure performance tuning and optimization of machine learning infrastructure to meet business needs.
• Create high-level and low-level design documents, prepare scopes of work and participate in the review of technical proposals.
• Stay current with the latest trends in machine learning, MLOps, and AI technologies, recommending and implementing improvements where applicable.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine learning, MLOps, or similar fields.
• Proven expertise in building, optimizing, and maintaining AI/ML platforms, with hands-on experience using frameworks like Kubeflow, MLFlow, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed computing and parallel processing principles.
• Proficiency in Linux systems administration and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with data pipeline tools, workflow orchestration, and automation frameworks.
• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash) to automate and manage ML workflows.
• Familiarity with model monitoring, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and system performance tuning.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in machine-learning environments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with diverse teams.
